Strawberries are Gluten Free

My talk with Cadbury Canada

Yesterday I called Cadbury to inquire about the “Crunchie” chocolate bar gluten-free status.  This was the gist of our conversation:

All top 9 allergens in ALL of the Cadbury products will be marked separately beside the nutritional information.  All of them, all the time.  Where an ingredient is derived from one of the top 9 allergens, it will also be clearly marked.

This sounds very much like Kraft’s statement of allergen-transparency.  Glad to hear it!
